Paranormal Activity 2

hope its better then the 1st.
1st dragged on for ages, especially the beginning. It didn't make me jump or anything untill the last 5seconds where she got thrown against the camera, i think the other version she got arrested. Can't remember now!

I found the first one simply tiresome, it wasn't a complete failure and did manage to maintain and build up some sort of tension towards the end, however, that punch it was trying to deliver lacked any sort of serious force behind it. So as it stands I'm feeling very indifferent towards this, just looks like any other other sequel out there. The music is louder, the headlines are more sensationalist and the shocks are just that bit more in your face. Unfortunately I'm writing this off as yet another sequel to a weak yet financially successful film, money makes the world go round and honestly I can't blame them for making another one.

why, 1st one was so over rated and just not scary. Get in your head? the only way it would get in your head, is if you have grown up in bible country and have been conditioned into believing in demons and the like.

I really enjoyed the first one, i sat with my teenage kids and watched it, i cant remember the last time my kids sat so close to me while watching a film, it was worth it just for that :)

Didn't find the first one scary. Jumpy? Sure. But it was mostly in silence so it's fairly self-explanatory why it was jumpy.

Maybe Americans ruined it by hyping it up so much after ****ing their bible-bashing pants!

All I can say is that if you find this type of film scary then you must believe in this sort of stuff.
I thought the first was rubbish.
All my mates actually found it scary...... ? I'm like does this scare you and clapped my hands :P

Weirdos :)

Looking forward to this.

I must be in a minority because I enjoyed the first one hope it has a better ending though like you actually get to see the Demon.

1st one scared the poo out of me, not whilst watching it, but later that evening, for the next 2 weeks :o waking up in the middle of the night in a pitch black room isn't nice when the film pops back into your head and you start to imagine sensing someone next to you breathing on your face or standing in your room :D

However, this one is a sequel and most likely a cash cow, so it'll suck, but I'll still probably go and see it, like a sucker.

Believing in something that exists, yes.

My gf has slept with the light on ever since seeing the first one. I have to admit to going through the same thing: even though I didn't really find the first film scary, the next month was filled with uncertain nights' sleeps.

Off to see an advanced screening this evening.

The cinema was completely sold out for all 4 screenings, 3 days ago.

Boy I'm glad I booked my tickets in advance.

The fact that they bring a sequel out kind of ruins the whole 'it's all true' appeal but I will still be going to see it.
