Parcelfarce

I've been quite lucky with Royal Mail recently. Bought something on Sunday evening, didn't bother paying extra for first class as it wasn't needed before christmas. It turned up this morning.

Musclefood orders tend to be left with no signature in a safe place. Failing that, Parcelforce leave anything they cannot deliver at my local corner shop which has a Post Office counter.

With neighbour perhaps, but stressed delivery driver forgot to post note through your door, saying the was parcel was with Mrs Jones?

2 pence worth...

Ordered from muscle food last week, knock on door before I'd even got to the door he was in his van and driving off 2 boxes on the door step... they can just leave it on the door step they have an authority number to do so.

Tbh i was waiting for someone to write about this flaw in muscle foods delivery policy. Just shows parcel farce can say they delivered it and they haven't.

Poor but the meats cheap :D

Let us know if they refund?

Nope, neighbours (who I trust) don't have it, and on the parcelforce site it has been signed for with a random squiggle.
Have contacted musclefoods about it, and will be going for a refund. Shame really, my first order and I probably won't bother again.

That's a bit harsh. It's not the company's fault that Parcelforce mucked up. Ideally they shouldn't be using Parcelforce but next time they might not after your experience.

Bit harsh? I'm not going to write off 88 quid, and I'm certainly not sure I want to rely on a company that uses parcelforce after this experience.

Should have gone to Asda!

If the company feels aggrieved with the service they paid for then it's between the company and ParcelFARCE, The contract for delivery is between them. The buyer only has a contract of sale between himself and the company.

That's Royal Fail/ParcelFarce's final word on the matter given to me on the MULTIPLE times I've had cause to complain about service falling well below standards.

Nothing will ever change though.

Umm it actually is since musclefood specifically tell parcelforce not to return items to a depot, they are NRS (no signature required) items, they can be left in a safe place. So if it was Yodel, DHL ect it would all be the same. It would cost them more in the long run due to items going off if parcelforce (or any other courier) had to return them.

You wont have to write off anything, if it wasnt signed for by you and the NSR number was entered + procedure followed musclefood will replace it, simples.

Yes they will, but that's not much use if it was meat for Christmas dinner. It's shoddy service like this from the likes if Parcel Farce that cost these companies repeat business.

The driver is following instructions laid down by musclefood, not parcelforce, so its not shoddy service. IMO NSR should be stopped altogether, the only people that seem to get the flack for this type of service is the couriers, not the companies that demand it.

Musclefood stipulate the orders are to be left. They have great big stickers all over the boxes stating it.

They'll sort you out with a refund/replacement no problem, talk about mountains out of molehills. Relax it's Christmas!
