i know i was always told, if you're going to cry i'll give you something to cry about.

the threat of a good beating usually shut me up.

I'm taking my mum out to a nice lake district restaurant for her birthday tomorrow but my 2 year old niece needs a babysitter so we're taking her along too, hopefully she'll nap in the car on the way and be quiet during lunch

my niece on the other hand usually behaves herself

It should have been.

Working mans pub should be, smoking allowed no food or kids.

Family pub, food and kids allowed but no smoking.

Simple really but hey we don't live in a logical world so we have to deal with it.

Simple to you perhaps, thank god you don't make decisions.

It's actually far simpler to just ban smoking all together from any place the public go. We can't be too far away from that fortunately.

I mean jeeze, how is it we're behind the Americans on something like this?

Well except of course that i did not complain in an earsplirting volume in a public place.

I made a comment on a message board which caused zero disturbance to anyone except those who wished to read and comment.

So no not ironic at all.

And anyway it would be hypocrisy not irony .
