Parvum Build Project "Dark" mini ITX Build

I'm running a 15% overclocked Titan and i5 2500 on a gold-rated 450W with zero issues so you should be fine with a 650W to give yourself some breathing room.

Noise levels wit regard to fans etc is also good - I am going to replace the current corsair 750 watt PSU with a smaller silent one as i can probably get away with a lesser Wattage one now so it will be even quieter

Do you think i could get away with a 550 or 650 one?

Using a lower rated PSU won't necessarily reduce noise levels, just go for something more sophisticated and of higher quality. 650W would be a sensible size and the higher the efficiency rating the less heat produced hence the quieter it should be. Corsair AX760/860 Platinums are probably the quietest PSU I have used running a pair of 780's and a 4820k pretty much always passively in games. If your thinking about sleeving cables in the future though Silverstone or EVGA is the best route to go down IMO.

Nice work, I must admit I do like compact systems and this is tempting me to do my own in the new year. Just wondering though what noise levels are like on the system and are they better than the Enthoo Primo?

I also like the look of the Parvum case but I was also wondering how durable the case is and does the acrylic scratch easily? :)

Excellent build :D

I had to configure the motherboard fans via the Asus software to get good levels. basically the small intake fan doesnt even kick in until i'm playing games and the top and side fans connected to the radiators run at about 800 rmp until game playing as well. The D5 pump is set to just over 1 and and seems fine. I think the loudest thing in it at the moment is the PSU which i will address over new year.

So all in all I am very happy with it.

Excellent, I'll have to look at investing in a SFF rig in the new year as I like the idea of something being so powerfull yet compact:D

Im currently in an MATX Parvum. But made wider as a custom case to fit what i wanted...

But its nice to see you can fit a decent chunk of cooling in that ITX Case, and if i move from Dual cards to single card setup i may have to buy one.

Although my temps have gone up quite a bit over last few months, i think its because i havent touched my coolant in nearly 19 months :O
