Hi all. Now that SHEEDY, KRAIT and MATE are drawing to a close it's to time to keep the ball rolling with another even bigger project. Having discussed an admiration of high end watercooled builds with a friend and rep from KFA2 (Galax to those outside of Europe) it led into the start of this project PARVUM HOF. We intend to encompass the ethos behind KFA2's Hall Of Fame GPU's while as always adding our own unique angle towards case design and liquid cooling. We will also be working with for the first time, Diamond Cooling, a small UK based company who specialize in custom watercooling components. They already have an established relationship with KFA2 focusing on full cover solutions for HOF cards.

We are also very grateful for the continued support of our sponsors ASUS, Silverstone and HyperX who together with KFA2 and Diamond Cooling made this project possible for us.

Case - Custom Parvum Systems L1.0_Invert
Motherboard - ASUS X99 Deluxe
GPU - KFA2 GTX 980Ti HOF x3
PSU - Silverstone Strider ST1500-GS

Remaining components TBC

This is the initial concept for the case, an inverted version of our retail ATX chassis the L1.0. We may well add or take away various elements before it's cut depending on where the loop takes us but this is what we have for now.

Lots of monochromatic un-boxing goodness to come shortly!

Straight in with two GTX 980Ti's from KFA2 and another one which clearly is also from KFA2  no Galax branding to see here.

The clean simple details of the packaging look fantastic, definitely a balance we intend to continue, perhaps with the reintroduction of green as a secondary accent.

Now we just need a motherboard to bring all of this insanity together, as if by fate we also had this X99 Deluxe arrive at HQ.

With the 2.5 slot coolers fitted we could only find room for two cards on the board, but thats ok, watercooling can solve this :D

JR23 also had the guts of LIGHTNING standing by when taking the photographs, it would have been rude not get a few shots of them together. Why am I sensing an epic benching session when these projects are both finished!

Can't wait to catch up with you all soon as the parts come together for HOF, it's already looking very big and very white.

You guys got some insane builds going on right now! Big fan of monochrome so this is right up my street. You defo need a bench-off when both builds are completed ;)

Is there any way to get one of those cases, love Parvuum cases, just wish there was one to fit the new ATX X99 build in!!

After looking at the case images I was surprised to find they are renderings but I rememeber reading you studied architecture at uni. Whats your choice of software?

Bloody hell was not expecting that sort of price range! Think that will minimize your buying group.

We've focused on the smaller form factors for such a long time as we feel they are most appropriate for the vast majority of users. There has been continual pressure to develop a retail ATX case, especially since Project Magnus. We felt that our first solution needed to be capable of housing significantly more components than an mATX chassis and consequently all of the watercooling that goes along with it. Alongside huge SLI setups and high-end watercooling we don't think that the L1.0 is that expensive and it's certainly competitive among cases with comparable feature sets. We never anticipated it would appeal to those looking for a case to run a single air-cooled graphics card (as that would easily fit in an mATX or even ITX case). Having said that we will look to bridge the gap inbetween the S2.0 and L1.0 in the future, going big initially and allowing much higher spec builds seemed like the first logical step. Just like the decision to bring the X1.0 prior to the VEER1.0 when scaling things down to ITX.

Thats a fair point i suppose, Just seems like £300 is a bit excessive considering the materials its made from, however, they do look bloody gorgeous, and the inverted motherboard tray just looks fantastic, wish more companies did that! When compared to the Corsair 900D or the Phanteks Enthoo Primo, you are getting a MASSIVE amount of room to build in, and i imagine, certainly a lot more than the L1.0 will offer.
I think £200 would have been a more suitable option, as that bridges the gap in the market, of the top 'bang for your pound' cases at around £100, and the higher end cases of £250-400.
However I do agree that people will buy this for watercooling, myself, and i imagine others will be put off because of the heavy price tag, the extra hundred quid could be used to improve peoples builds, and i dont know of many people who dont have a budget to build off of!
Honestly, £200 would make MUCH better business sense, and would open up a WHOLE new line of people for this case.
£200 i could somehow justify, £300, not so much.
Just my view on the case. Does look beautiful, but if you can get the price down, you already have an almost certain sale, and i cant and wont be the only person to see it this way.

The issue is not the materials. 5mm acrylic is pretty cheap. However, the machinery that cuts the acrylic is not cheap.

I'm not a fan of Parvum really but I know how much machinery costs.

It will sell :) plenty of people out there that want something completely unique to them. This is one thing I like about Parvum tbh.

There's no way I'd pay £300 for a case, certainly one made of plastic ;) I understand why, but personally I think it's too much.

I'd pay £200 as I really like the case but that'd be my max.

But it will definitely sell and if I came into some more disposable income from somewhere I'd certainly get one no matter the price.

Can understand this, but if they offered more cases they would sell more and make more money to buy more machines!

5mm extruded gloss acrylic might be pretty cheap but cast double sided matte is another story. Particularly when manufactured in the UK to suitable tolerances. Although if you've found a cheaper supplier who can deliver the same quality of acrylic we would love to know! The machinery itself as you say is not cheap and the cost of operating it in the UK is another huge consideration no other manufacturer has to make. Using acrylic manufactured in the UK and machining everything in-house is not most inexpensive way of doing things however it is necessary to ensure the quality of the finished product. The L1.0 uses over double the amount of materials as an S2.0, it is a properly big case built without compromise, unfortunately the price has to reflect that. Rest assured the range will continue to grow and more price points will be covered.

I'm sure he mentioned another atx case to follow the L1.0 called the M1.0 which is a mid atx. The 'Parvum Krait' build log shows the design.
I'll prob add that to my collection when it arrives, to go with my S2.0, White Evolv and R4 Titanium.

Like you say, double the material, now, i may be wrong, but double 99.99 (or 89.99 at the minute) is certainly not £300, now, even if were talking double the mATX cases, at 129.99, thats still only £169.98 so where is the extra £30.01 coming from? Also, as its an acrylic case, and its just basically pieced together, couldn't you save manufacturing costs by leaving it to the buyer to build it his/herself?
I understand your reasoning however, and the cases you produce are beautiful, and from what everyone says top quality, so guess we shouldn't put you down!
