Just an ordinary envelope, I think it had a return address somewhere in Wales and seperately my old passport with the corners cut off was returned, the return address for that was in Liverpool. Neither needed to be signed for.

£77.50 as highlighted in the link above, it might have been £50 a while ago but we'd be talking a number of years.
 
I sent my passport application off on Saturday, going away in 3 weeks time, and I've got to get it all done from scratch!

I know it's leaving it late, but neither I nor my mother could find my birth certificate, so had to order a replacement, and then I was sent away with work for nearly 2 weeks, so couldn't get it done then, either!

I'm really hoping with it being early in the year, and away from "holiday season" that it will come through fairly quickly - else I'm not off to Majorca with work!
