Passports

Not everyone has to have an interview though do they? Or is it everyone now?

Surely there are offices around whatever area you are based? I don't fancy a trip from South West - Glasgow.

hmm its a pain in the bum because the passport office is in glasgow, just now im working 6 days a week and i dont really want to have to spend 5 hours travelling on my day off just to get a passport really :(

it appears my trip is off

You'd rather cancel a trip than spend a day getting a passport?

That I have no clue about, I renewed mine in August 2007, first one was got about 8 years ago or something.

Newport, Gwent.

Knew it was Wales somewhere, is it DVLA that's Swansea or am I just being thick this morning?

It's really quite amazing how difficult it is to get out of the country yet how easy it is to get into the country...

Maybe through the illegal channels or as a Minister's nanny, but not through customs it isn't. You even feel like a criminal coming back in to the UK as a white Britain let alone anyone else. It's a far cry from the welcoming feeling we are afforded arriving in most countries.

"Security" apparently...or, more like a load of pointless crap for law-abiding people.

Sounds more like appeasement of tabloids and their readership.

Yes, the DVLA are in Swansea.

My girlfriend works in the Newcastle one. They had someone drive up from Wales and march in reception to complain he was banned from driving and wanted his licence back :D
