Path of Exile 2

Got back in after losing connection trying to enter the encampment, went back through a 7000 queue, managed to enter the encampment this time and then lost connection again when trying to exit the encampment and back in another 7000 queue. Seems a bit flaky at the moment when changing zones, or possibly its just entering/exiting the encampment

Not even managed to link account so far it just keeps telling me I’ve not purchased the early access despite it being in steam library.

Partying up seems very glitchy, we grouped up and it seemed to think we were in a party and were not in a party at the same time plus random strangers were joining the party even though it was set to not public

Thats it for the night for me, really good initial impressions. Loving the difficulty, superb animations and love the aesthetics, its actually really good for teamwork too, especially if one person is playing as the warrior with the shield as they can stand and use the block ability to take virtually no damage while the ranged people in the group pummel the target from range.

Went with the Ranger, very agile and chaining lightning is fun.

Played for about 3 hours, no crashes etc after the initial hiccups with the servers, but fair play to GGG for being on top of things.

Took down a few bosses, Bloated Miller is easy introduction, but the Devourer got me the first time, 2nd time was easier as I knew the mechanics. Carrion Crone was close, but managed to get her down 1st time too.
Bramble Abomination wasn't too hard, but very enclosed space which for a ranged class meant a lot of dodge rolling and the last one, the Rust King was easiest of them all tbh, even with his adds.

How are people finding WASD controls? I'm loving it, but find I need to rebind some skills to my mouse, rather than using Q&E.

Seeing all the comments, this is why I’m glad I’m putting off my start by a week. Can’t wait, but I’m doing my best to resist so I don’t get frustrated by as many of the issues you guys are facing!

Really enjoying it so far, excited to put more time in this weekend. I just cleared the hunting grounds, the skeleton arsonists are really starting to slap now with the multi projectiles and increased area, it's made it slightly easier in the last few areas.

The bosses have all felt good so far to say they are only act 1, it's nice having to actually engage with mechanics and not steam roll everything. It really is putting D4 to shame on that front, there's probably been more fun in this single act so far than all the D4 bosses combined.

Performance has been good, the visuals and sound is great. Since around 20:30 when we were able to connect again I've only had once crash in the middle of a boss fight, which when I reconnected immediately put me back in there and un-paused the game, so nothing lost. Which then made me realise we can pause at anytime solo, blew my mind :D.

WASD has been really good so far, though once the characters are a bit more decked out with multiple skills it might start needing some fine tuning with key/mouse button bindings.

Got up to level 7 with a sorceress. Early impression is good ; fun game, much harder than D4 - early doors at least, and a slower pace. Will spend much more time with it tomorrow.

edit. Used a controller - felt good & responsive. Worked well with the UI, including inventory.

yeah sorceress just feels glass cannon, the enemies are slower to kill and just bum rush you, later in act 1 it's a total slog

melee looks awful

Playing as the witch and so far it's easy mode with all the minions and contagion.
Just killed rust king and i don't think I've been under half health yet. I'm sure I'll get harder and minions will be useless in endgame but i think respecing is a lot easier than the first game.
Really enjoying it so far and only had 1 crash which i think was a forced update. I loaded back in straight away and was in the exact same place before the crash so that was great
