Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Meh, having to use the Toybox cheat mod! Having to go through the map travel and the corruption aspect again even as a powerful Demon is tedious! It really takes the fun out of the game, so I'm now using Fast Travel and Instant Heal all

I am the destroyer of worlds!! Feel my demonic power!

Hate being the good guy in games, and this I'm not :D

Her portrait face looks so odd haha. I finished tyranny before this so I went my usual good guy root.

Agreed, and having to redo hours worth of gameplay on occasion really put me off too.

Holy crap I've never been so demonic in a game before!! All the crusaders crying as I use my demonic inner power to wipe them from the land! I'LL DESTROY ALL WHO APPOSE ME (Including my friends)!

I've finally completed the game and I really enjoyed it! I would rate it a 9/10 but the Abyss level, and the endless mobs towards the end game was both tedious and unneeded :)

And yet...believe it or not, Pathfinder 2 has not even made it in as a nominee for the Best Roleplaying Game of 2021 at the Game Awards this year.

Nor did Solasta make it into the list.

Who the hell comes up with these award lists???

(FYI - Cyberpunk DID make the list of nominees for Best Role Playing game of 2021)

hah, I went full on Demon too. I liked the Abyss part though. Took getting used to at first, but it was something a bit unique.

Decided to start this today, managed to get season 1 and 2 for a total of £15. The developers also announced it's in its finished state aswell.

Decided to roll a human two handed fighter. Character creator sure is in-depth which I like. Story has barely begun as I'm only a couple hours in. Decided to change combat to turn based as I prefer it.

Anyone here complete this, how big is it compared to baldurs gate 3?

If you were just following along with the main story, I'd say it's a little shorter than Baldur's Gate 3... but if you are looking to explore and do everything, it'll take could take you fair bit longer than it would to 100% BG3.

Pathfinder's combat can be a tad more brutal than BG3 in areas, so you may find yourself having to take a step back and rethink tactics or gear up from time to time.

ah people had been waitinga while for A Dance of Masks. isee it was released 3months ago.
i hadnt even realised it had been released.
time to fire it up and give it a try :) especuailly as it says it can run on my current toaster

Yes, fighters are pretty good damage dealers in Pathfinder so are good at handling most combat situations.

Their gameplay does get a little bit samey as you don't have the variety of spells to change things up, but you can easily solve that by recruiting a spellcaster or two into your party... unless you're doing a solo run. If you want a good mixed class for a solo game, Magus is a decent choice.

ironically
  • Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous: Shake the very foundations of Golarion in this sprawling RPG, where you’ll amass nigh godlike power and lead vast armies against an infernal threat.
  • Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Season Pass 1 and 2: If the main game wasn't enough roleplaying goodness, great news, we've included both season passes containing six additional content packs adding a slew of new character options, spells, and storylines.
are on humblebudle for those interested - bundle selection - Beamdog & Owlcat
so those waiting may find its a good time to pick it up

Just realised that I didn't have Season Pass 2 for mine, so think I'll have to do another play through to try out some of the new content.
