PAYDAY 2

Anyone know when this criminal upgrade glitch is going to be fixed on Steam? I have two people who want the beta codes yet I can't get them cause Steam is useless.

That's two resets I've had now, one I chose and one for the update. Not the worst thing in the world as it encourages me try different skills and weapons.

Couple of questions.....is there a way to see your characters overall accuracy rather than just each heist and has anyone pulled a joker card and if so what does it grant you?

anyone else disappointed by nightclub? firstly the music is rubbish and there is so much work for what seems a little pay out. I expected a rammed night club kind of like the scene from blade with vampires lol

Is it just me or do a lot of the early skills for some trees seem rather weak? Technican most of all.

Mastermind gets his massive number of cable ties in tier 1. He can boost experience and get cheaper assets in tier 2, or boost everyones recoil reduction. Tier 3 he gets to force rent-a-cop security guards into submitting from what I've heard and be more convincing on the pager.

By comparison, the Technician gets basically nothing. The mines are absolutely useless as they start out and you only get the drill efficiency stuff at tier 3.

Enforcer does get surpression boosts at t1 but I'm not sure how they work and the bag move speed is good. Basically he's all about the combat which is good but not something you kinda want to be doing things stealthily.

Ghost is basically the dedicated looter early on.

Don't see the point playing this anymore until they put a proper anti cheat system in place. Seen a few level 30's 1 hour after reset yesterday, people using a speed glitch to cook meth and drill so they can do overkill missions within minutes. It's just sad that the best they can do is say on the steam forums we will ban cheaters if we catch them.

I don't see any harm in letting the idiots cheat.

By staying active on this thread, surely there will be loads of people from here to team up with instead of randoms?

Well that's the problem, if you've got a party of 4 to play with all the time then it's all well and good but what happens when you want to play when no one else is online or playing? Like any game it just ruins it for me, same happened with DayZ, Wasteland etc etc and when nothing gets done about it more and more start doing it.

Lots of civilians + bullets = dead civilians = penalty = no spending money.

Yeah very true but agree with majnu that the music in the club could have been better and it does seem a lot of work for not a lot of money for the effort..

I wish the AI could pick up money bags ect..

They really should have tried to aim for the club scene in Collateral, especially the Paul Oakenfold track used in the club :)

I played a few Heists with Mike last night and a few randoms that joined his game. Didn't see any cheating thankfully.

They should double the rewards if the whole team completes a Heist with all objective markers, squad markers, HUD displays and Hit markers removed.

My biggest gripe is that none of the levels I've played have captured the grand scale and epic feel of the original Payday 1 heists - playing through Panic Room (buzzsaws through the room, helicopter lifting the room away) and First World Bank (breaking into increasing levels of safe security), I felt like part of a coordinated team playing out cool heists that wouldn't be out of place in a Hollywood film.

In Payday 2, breaking into safe deposit boxes in a bank the size of a fast food outlet, or damaging 4 shops on a street is not epic.

It's mundane.

Am I alone in feeling this way?
