PAYDAY 2

Oh good god man. We did that Framing Frames (?) 3 day contract. That third day man, first time we did it we somehow fluked it but couldn't find the last piece ANYWHERE for 20 minutes. Accidentally tripped the camera and got owned by cops appearing out of thin air. Took us the best part of an hour to finally manage it flawlessly again. So awesome when we finally did it.

Up to level 18 now. A long way to go for the higher tier skills though.

Ouch.

Did you shoot out the 1st level? We accidentally tripped the alarms and wow does it take you a while... Was close even on no risk.

That 3rd level really needs patience. So much more so than the Bank Heist. Does it differ at all on Very Hard in terms of the number of guards/cameras? On 'No risk' we'd have 3 cameras, of which you could only destroy 1 of them before it alerted the cops and 5 guards, meaning you needed a Mastermind to intimidate 1, then answer 4 pagers. Are there more on Very Hard?

While I appreciate people think others are idiots online... I struggled to get a game with randoms last night as people would join my game, See I was level 1 then leave or kick me repeatedly from any game I joined due to be being low level.... Frustrating as hell the sooner people realise that regardless of the game High level does not equal a high skill level the better.

I don't care if your level 1 or 200 as long as your a teamwork player it don't bother me what level you are

I only kick if your running out on the street all guns blazing when there is no need to with 50+ cops shooting at you

Yeah sure there were more than 5. We done the same thing on day 1 we just could not get past day 3 what so ever the cams kept spoting my team

The full assaults were just way to overpowering for us

We were trying the stealth approach all the way through..I was the boddy bagger

Yes but the way the game is setup, some heists can only be completed full stealth if you are a high enough level with the correct skills unlocked.

If you are getting kicked, just host yourself. Once people see you know how to play despite your level they will stick around.

Also had trouble on day 3 on the framing mission, finally completed when one guy ran blindly to the escape whilst the rest of us were downed. Talk of gold in the safe makes me want to try again though :D

Just to make sure you guys know about the config edit thing to get the refresh rate working right.

I loaded the game up and the fps were awful, I looked on my 120hz monitor and it said 50hz :/

go to appdata/local/payday2 and add in your resolution and refresh rate at the bottom and then save, now the game runs silky smooth on max settings.

And they are almost entirely centered around having a Mastermind with Smooth Talker and Intimidation at this level.

You can do Jewellery Store without any skills at all. If the cops are outside it complicates things but you don't have to bother with the guards round the back. Walk straight in the front, make sure no civs or guards are in the corridor, get everyone down, cable tie (or shoot) everyone outside and keep shouting at the civs in the store while you loot everything and take it the long way (out of view of the alley way) back to the van.

Bank Heist, you could have 3 level ones for all it matters so long as you have 1 Mastermind because you need to deal with more guards than you can handle without it.

Even if you're level 1 you could still have played the Beta and know what you're doing but people don't wanna take that chance to just ask.

Lots of it. Was so tense doing it because we'd failed that often. 2 security camera's left out of the way which has us paranoid we were going to go the wrong way and walk into 1. Ended up with a 90k payout (even after a borderline success first day) with no risk so that should be a pretty valuable one at higher difficulty.

We did one on an island where you have to find an engine, we spent 40minutes on the stage, and that's only ONE stage. I went and ****ed it up by bagging all the engines and then you can't tell them apart xD About 19k and an hour and half down the drain.

Thanks for this buddy, game looks a lot better at 144hz than 60 :)
