Has the intimidate guard system changed? During the beta I could cuff a guard easily, but now I'm the one getting cuffed. It's never happened before so I'm wondering if I need a skill unlock to make it work or if I should only be intimidating the guards when they have their backs turned.

Huh? You could only ever cuff guards during the beta by intimidating them using the Mastermind skill.

They then kinda broke it (or fixed it... nobodies quite sure) so that you could only have 1 guard intimidated regardless of the number of Masterminds. I haven't tested it to see if that is still the case but I believe it is. Which sucks a bit.

Had the most ridiculous Bank Heist - Overkill (Pro Job) yesterday. I scouted out the managers office once the 3 guards had left the cubicles area. Keycard on his desk so masked up in, got it and attempted to crouch walk out. As I'm on the way out the bank manager walks through me and the 3 people in the cubicles spot me, bank manager carries on walking through the copier room oblivious! So I turn around and get the civs down expecting this to go south at any instant. Then go out back to kill a guard outside. Take out the guard inside the security room. Guard walks straight across the cubicle area and doesn't notice anything till he's halfway across the room and he's intimidated in plain sight of the cashiers! Doesn't get seen, bank manager walks round the corner and doesn't notice anything till he's round the dividing wall!
So the others mask up, we storm the lobby area and get everyone down. Drill up, loot the cash. We open the side door to check and there's another guard stood round the corner doing nothing for the entire time!

Pulled it off with around $260k in spending money but I honestly don't know how!
 
Very strange bank heist yesterday, Pro Overkill Gold, ended up with 1 million spending cash. Nearly every locker had a big gold bar in that you have to bag, think it was glitched.
 
Managed to stealth the Framing frames Day 3 Senator mission on overkill yesterday, got the gold and everything we received a $650,000+ payout each. :eek:

Was pretty intense.
 
Experiences so far with Payday 2. Super intense heist where we make a last ditch attempt for the last bag only for the host to quit as he is downed. Been kicked from 4 games in a row for being under level 10. Cant wait to get a headset back so I can do some organised coop it seems fun but I have played for around 5 hours (beta inlcluded) and completed about 3 matches without being kicked or host quit.

Aye it starts to really slow down around level 20, specially when you're doing stealth runs and restart when you fail >< Just about to hit lvl30. We had so many annoying close calls doing an overkill Bank Heist last thing yesterday. 1 little mistake after 10 or 15 minutes of preparation and it went south.

We had a hilarious one where for the best part of 7 minutes I was trapped in the managers office! Was hiding behind his computer for most of it, then another guard walked across from the other side and I had to hide behind his chair. Thankfully the manager never came back and I finally managed to escape when the guards left. Then we botched it up right at the final push to clear the bank :(

It's just become a race to see who can get the quickest times and all masks first.

Watching people do speed runs in 30 seconds of pro ukranian job overkill just makes me think, what is the point playing normally when you can just do that. The 3 day missions are just frustrating since trying a speed run.
 
Can't get into this game at all, just hasn't pulled me in like other games have recently such as Chivalry, Guns of Icarus etc It just feels like Call of Duty with 4 guys shooting police officers.
