I believe you can get a skill where you can upgrade them.

Yeah you can upgrade them in the tech tree I believe.

A friend of mine has started getting those skills and as far as I remember even the early ones can knock 30 seconds off the drill time and give them a chance of automatically restarting themselves if they jam. Drilling things is a real pain so hopefully it gets even easier.

Yeah you can reduce drilling time by 30% which sometimes knocks 100s off the time. I really want the safe picking skill though so I can pick the safes quietly and quickly instead of drilling them. Or shaped charges at least.

Aren't the shaped charges noisy as hell though?

I'm working my way up to the lockpicking but I've just hit the tier which needs 4 skill points per skill. I'm tempted to respect and get rid of my Mastermind tree skills to speed it up but those are so damn useful...

Im really enjoying the game however I am getting fairly regular but randon freezes forcing me to restart my machine. It can be within 1 minute or can be after 2 hours, I dont "think" it's anything overheating given the randomness of it, today I played for 5 minutes then after a restart I managed to play for 2 hours.

I disabled steam overlay as that is apparently a possible issue but it's not helped. Any ideas?

After 5 days of disconnect free gaming, they're back with a vengeance. 17 disconnects in an hour. Tons of gamers are getting this and no fix in sight.

No problems here. I have respecced and dropped my sentry gun skills. It is just pointless on overkill. Going for the saw so I can rinse the bank heists. After that it has to be mastermind for the inspire skill. Such a slog now!

Anyone found a quick way of levelling? I have hit level 62 or some such and it has slowed down drastically. I just cannot see how people have gotten to level 100 at infamy 5 >.<

I have done overkill stealth missions (Framing frames, The election one, Rats, diamond store, Bank Heist cash and gold) and overkill Watchdogs a few times yet just do not seem to be getting too much experience. Most I have gotten in 1 go was about 350k which was very very nice. But that was less than 1 level

I expect I am just being greedy but there we go lol. Guess I just need to soldier on through to level 80 when I get deathwish.

I feel you there and I'm only on 52 (I think). I will occasionally grind the Rats overkill mission (better if you get it on pro job too). Haven't managed 350k exp yet though! Awesome payout if you get the bus money though. Jewlery store on overkill is a nice quick one to break up the grind and is hard to get wrong.

I started playing this again lastnight, level 53 and boy do i get jack all XP for any hiest under Overkill

Very few of the level 100's in Infamy will of done it legitimately, most of the ones I see I check their steam profile and they haven't got anywhere near enough hours played to be that level.

Do Diamond Store stealth for a 30% exp bonus for your next job, then either Rats or Firestarter pro. Should get you about 400-450k exp

I've been playing this for a few weeks now, well since it was in the Steam sale anyway, and I play with a group of mates generally. However I had a blast on Single Player last night and obviously went full in Stealth Ninja mode. I did slip up on Shadow Raid though, can you only answer 4 pagers before the alarm is raised? As I got to the 5th one in time and answered it no bother, but as soon as I completed the pager response the alarm sounded . . . I might just be a total noob here, but is that normal???

Sure sounds good, I tend to play with my brother and another friend but am happy to ditch them for a run or two with someone else.

4 Is the maximum number of pagers that can be done by the ENTIRE team on any 1 level. A quick note, If you get seen and have used all of your pagers, throw down an ECM jammer and just run and do what you want for the next 20-30 seconds as this causes all communications to be blocked level wide. The only exception to this is when a camera sees something, If it has seen it then it is too late... If there is a person by a camera, shoot the camera first or ECM first then kill the person etc.

What is seen cannot be unseen.
