much love
Give the guys a break. They're not based in Jersey (so actually pay their taxes) and they probably haven't got the buying power or guaranteed sales to negotiate the price on a squillion units ..
PC's are dead. Overclockers need to sell consoles, phones, games and Laptops if they wanna survive the next decade and beyond.

Don't be a tard, they're still the best place by far to buy decent quality hardware. Not always the very cheapest, but competitive and definitely high quality. For hardware, I wouldn't shop anywhere else - I'll just buy my games from over here --->
I never said they were not good for hardware, most of my graphics cards over last 6 yrs have come from ocuk.
Outside of us die hard PC geeks, business get there comps from Dell et al, most families now just have a laptop and most teenagers are playing consoles.
So if I owned OCUK, I would want to move into laptop, console, games and phone sales.
The consumer base has shifted a bit since 2000.
Well thank the lord that you aren't OCUK.
So you think most people wanna buy top end PC hardware still over laptop's and game consoles?
Well if they didn't, would amd, nvidia, ati, and intel keep making and selling top end hardware? Theres obviously enough still buying it for them to bother making it.

*** THIS GAME IS NOT TO BE PURCHASED BY ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 ***
of course there is money in it, but you can make more money selling what people want most... consoles/laptops/phones/games etc etc etc on top of selling i7 to us geeks
That must be why successful specialist fashion boutiques are stocking 12 packs of boxers for 99p to compete with Primark.
OCUK fills a niche, my niche. Now don't spoil it.
I gotta agree with oxy tho, with the state of pc gaming and the fact most people use consoles and laptops it must be getting less interest in the high performance pc market.
OCUK has grown so fast over the past 10 years and for the last 3 or 4 years there hasn't been much worth upgrading for. Im sure this is why we see lots of high performance laptop post and this games thread before us.
YesIn 10 years time can you really see enough business for PC parts only?
