Payday The Heist

I'm playing the game at 1920x1080 and i have a black border , the game won't play full screen even though the full screen option is ticked. Pressing ALT ENTER does not work.

Ideas anyone?

I don't have the game yet but its sounds like a aspect ratio problem? is there option to change it?

I got this game yesterday and I am very happy with it.

The game is brilliant and I spent 5 hours on it last night and completed it in 3!

Graphics are a little dull and there is no option for adjusting the anti analysing etc but that really is the only bad thing I can say about it. Even my misses likes it.

After playing for a few hours I'm at the conclusion its a poor mans left 4 dead. The aiming is naff. Its worth the money just. Will play a bit more but bored already.

Bought. Fantastic game. No idea why it's priced so cheaply.

I wouldn't call solo boring. I'd call it a challenge. In the same was that solo l4d was a challenge.

That said, no real reason not to play MP, as that's a challenge enough. Even on normal.

I think the unlock system is cool. Seems to unlock certain weapons based on your style of play. Like an automatic specialization system.

I thought it was just marketing but it's true, this doesn't feel like a budget title at all. Recommend to everyone.

It's cheap because they intend to support the game moving forward with paid DLC, well that and the fact that it's digital distribution only.
If they get the DLC pricing right, I think it could be a long term win.

I'm certainly enjoying it so far, but it's definitely more fun with 3 other humans though :D

i cant get into it, dunno why i like the idea of it, but don't get the same feel as shooting a copper as i do a zombie, so even though i have not played l4d for 12months i found myself redownloading and playing that

whats peoples views on this after playing it for a while thinking of getting it?

I have completed it and play it "sometimes" now. Got a little bored of it.

The graphics are decent, but can flicker or tear the screen sometimes.

I could not find anything in the options to do with AA, so there is some jagged edges.

Gameplay is simplistic and a lot of the time, even on overkill mode, the coppers just stand there wanting to be killed, there is no real sense in them trying to hide, then pop up to shoot you. The AI has NO STRATEGY WHAT SO EVER! They stand there and take it like a *****!

Some pieces of the game are nice like having to run back and forth to fix drills or saws that stop working, but in "panic room" there are 4 saws and each one dies twice so you have to keep going back and forth to restart them because of an error in the saw and this gets annoying and you run into more coppers, swat, and bulldozers which are massive and have crap loads of body armour on them and take freakin' ages to kill and this annoys me.

You run out of ammo very quickly, and there are only 6 or 7 missions on the whole game. For example, this video shows me playing the game: http://bit.ly/tWKs6o.

I completed each mission on overkill and I found it slightly easy after playing the game for a while.

I think it is a decent game and for around £20 it is cheap as chips, but would I recommend it... I ain't too sure!

I love it, I love the extreme difficulty in the overkill setting. Playing with friends is much better than solo, but solo can still be fun. Try solo without the AI for an extra challenge.

Its similar to L4d but let me tell you, that really is no bad thing, instead of zommers you have coppers, some of which are pretty hard to kill.

the police are sitting ducks, the guns on it are naff and really is like playing some arcade game where the targets pop out.. uninstalled and wished i could sell steam games!
