Keyboards belong with PC's and pads belong on consoles, that (as well as the cost) is what seperates them and thats how I think it should stay.
Otherwise you might as well start making PS3's with replacable graphics cards, ram etc....
I don't play football games at all, but yes, from what I've seen of my mates playing Fifa on a 50" tv hooked up to a PS3 it looks loads better and easier using a pad, just don't see why you would try and merge the 2, I mean, you might as well start using a keyboard on the PS3, which you can for Unreal.

These are called PCs
Lol you remind me of a gaming dictator, "you must do this, you can't do that"..
Be a PC purist and enjoy it but dont have your blinkers on all the time.
Yeap computers have always had joysticks and gamepads so please do not think gamepads/joysticks are only a console thing as they are not.
Fifa and driving games need a pad imo.
Driving games need a wheel not a pad!
You say "FPS, RTS for PC", if you really enjoyed pc gaming why wouldn't you want more games then that?.
Jay you are talking nonsense lol.
Mortal Kombat has been on the PC for years.
Just my opinion but honestly, PC's aren't the best for Beat Em Up games. FPS'ers and RTS's are made for the PC, everything else with the exception of racing games should stay on consoles.
(Never really saw the point of using a pad on a PC anyways, isn't that what consoles are for)
Thanks but it's not like I'm saying it's law, thats just how I use the machines
By the same logic, you shouldn't be using a wheel on your PC because they were originally intended for arcade machines.
If games are better played with a pad, like the 2 you mentioned then they should stick to consoles, IMO.
Majority of people these days have a PC and a console anyways
.....That was my point, keep them seperate, don't try and merge them
It's not that mate, I just think that as soon as you connect a pad to a PC you remove the entire reason for buying a PC in the first place, and it becomes a giant, expensive, upgradable console
again
Like I said, FPS, RTS for PC, everything else for consoles

Maybe we need to start a support group? Let me start it of
My name is Joe and I use a 360 pad on my PC (for certain games) and I have done for some time
Next:
Me also, I've used a 360 gamepad for some time too... In fact i've used xpadder to try and get none 360 gamepad supported games to work with my PC and gamepad...
