Lol you remind me of a gaming dictator, "you must do this, you can't do that".
Dont think you understood my fifa bit, I'm saying the "pc" looks far better, and can equally be connected to any size tv and be great to play with pads, if i have friends round to play fifa, it would be quite funny to give each of them a keyboard instead of a 360pad.
If I ever got a console the only way I'd feel completely comfortable playing an fps or rts would be with kb+m.
And dude, pc's have had gamepads for years, it's nothing new just like joysticks and kb+m, go play some pc games like fifa, fsx, shank, racing games, other sports games with kb+m purely, you can do it sure but it's not really ideal.
Be a PC purist and enjoy it but dont have your blinkers on all the time.
Many games like the ones listed above would not sell well if they had no pad support, there would be no pc fifa that's for sure.

Yeap computers have always had joysticks and gamepads so please do not think gamepads/joysticks are only a console thing as they are not.
Fifa and driving games need a pad imo.

It's not that mate, I just think that as soon as you connect a pad to a PC you remove the entire reason for buying a PC in the first place, and it becomes a giant, expensive, upgradable console
Like I said, FPS, RTS for PC, everything else for consoles
Driving games need a wheel not a pad!

Jay you say about spending lots on a pc, more so then a console, if that is the case then surely you would want as many games to play as possible to make it worth while?
The main adavantages of PC's is how flexible they are, any type of game is possible.
You say "FPS, RTS for PC", if you really enjoyed pc gaming why wouldn't you want more games then that?
Adding a pad does not turn a PC into a console, it's crazy to say so and doesn't make sense. Does you hardware suddenly age to console standards? graphics etc etc.

What other games are these non fps rts games you play on console?
If all your pc games were on consoles and kb+m support was there would you change to console only?

I think people are just confused why you are deliberately handcapping yourself by not using a certain type of controller. If I'm playing a game which plays better on a joypad, then I will use a joypad. It doesn't matter what machine I'm playing it on.
By the same logic, you shouldn't be using a wheel on your PC because they were originally intended for arcade machines.
I think they were designed for IRL cars sometime before the arcade, so that's not allowed either

Me also, I've used a 360 gamepad for some time too... In fact i've used xpadder to try and get none 360 gamepad supported games to work with my PC and gamepad...
