PC BUILD VERSION 3.47596 MAKE IV

well if you have your heart set on that case then thats fine but....

the power supply could be changed for a less powerfull one, and if you aren't overclocking the motherboard could be changed saving you about £180. The memory certainly wont be needed if you aren't overclocking either which should save you more.

Yes you would need a bracket for the ssd also

by the way are you wanting to build this pc yourself? because i suggest if your aren't keen/confident doing it then you should give OCUK a call. They could build you a superb machine especially if you are happy to spend 2grand, and give you some sound advice;)

Are we talking about systems such as the ones listed on their website? Or do you mean I list them the products and they build it for me? Dropped psu to Corsair TX 850W ATX SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-850TXUK)

if you ring them mate they will build you a pc specifically to your needs, its just a simple phone call.

If you want to learn how to build pc's then lower your budget a lot and build your experience up with a cheap build, so mistakes aren't as costly (excuse the pun).

But if you want a powerfull pc now and your happy to spend over 1k then let OCUK take you through it.

The ones listed on their website can be ordered but they can also do whatever you want and give advice along the way:)

Either talk to the professionals or build your knowledge using less money before splashing the cash would be my advice.

yeah just give them a ring you dont have to go with them in the end so no harm done:)

Modular allows you to have better cable management as any cables you dont use dont have to be attached to the psu they can be removed. Although modular psu's cost more

Hmm another thing to think about. I might be buying a left side panel window with 2 x 140mm fans on it, would it better of having them as exhaust fans or intake fans? They run at 1500rpm each, currently on the case there are 3 intake fans and 2 exhaust fans.

Hey by the way what's the whole idea with ram timings?

Best way to learn something is to read up on it yourself. :)

This guide this is a few years old but thats better imo as it should allow you to put current RAM tech in context and give you some perspective. Speaking of perspective you really need to go away and research your subject before you spend a penny and that includes giving your money to OCUK for a pre-built. Stop worrying about upgrade paths, buying the most expensive motherboard you can find won't make your pc anymore upgradeable, at the moment you're trying to run way before you can walk

I found this website when I was a complete novice was vastly more helpful than OCUK forums, the members on there are far better at talking novices through the basics and won't try and spend your money for you, like we do on here. :o

The advice should be far more impartial.
