My little lad was playing call of duty for hours and then encountered a crash where the pc rebooted if I upload the dimple could anyone suggest as to what has caused the error? Thanks once again guys

If the crash is a one off, you can safely ignore it. Unfortunately these things happen and it’s not worth worrying about if it’s the first time it’s happened.

I’ve tried to read the mini dump using windows debug software but I don’t understand it if someone could take a look at the mini dump for me?

As honeybadger said
If its a one off crash I wouldn't worry about it
That's probably happened to everyone owning a pc
At some point
Multiple instances then yeah fair enough
Would have a closer look

Ain’t nobody going to spend their time debugging a release build windows crash dump I’m afraid.

If he’d been playing for hours it could be many things…..up to and including cosmic rays bitflipping memory

Ok thanks buddy I’ve had same issue happen previously in past but not persistent

That’s what I have done and it’s a kernel error that’s generated a mini dump file

There should be a bug check code and/or event ID - that may be useful to find the root cause, contrary to what people said above I wouldn't just ignore it as it might be an easy to fix thing.

When I’ve googled it it comes up to do with my Xbox controller
I would still go with direct x
As most likely
The controller is an xinput device yes
But from personal experience
That's never been what caused my error
Reinstalling direct x runtimes has always cured it for me
Though I would get the error multiple times
Before doing something abut it
Not if it was a one off

I’ve noticed since re enabling core isolation and memory integrity option now it has t done it since so il keep my eye on it
