Hehe - temps of all 4 cores.

How long was the test ran for - and did it coincide with the crash/restart?

Right temps

Core 0 81c
Core 1 76c
Core 2 83c
Core 3 76c
Core 4 81c
Core 5 73c

It was was after the restart no issues whilst running it it was running approx 15 mins

Temps are fine for 15 mins of small ffts.

It could be anything at this stage - your memory would be my next thought. But testing the GPU would be useful.

Ideally you would load up the memory dump.

When you get home download memtest - and run that for a few hours when your not using it.

How many times has it crashed like that?

It has does it and freezes up everyday I will get her to down load it and run it while I'm at work that way it can fun for a good few hours

And did you get memtest86? You have to install the ISO to a disk/usb and boot from that.

Or is she using the other memtest?

No matter - as long as 'all' the memory is getting tested.

I will have a look when I'm home she is using just memtest it only select half of the ram though which is confusing

It should pick all the memory up - but the test amount will vary as it runs through all its passes.

All hypotheticals at the moment.

Memtest is a good test to get out of the way.

You have the download links to test the GPU and monitor temps - and that should give up any errors/temps quite quickly if it's an obvious fault when put under stress (Kompbuster).
