PC Game Pass (was Xbox Game Pass for PC)

And Desperados 3, which was one of my best games of 2020

Starting to get a bit taxing now. I'm thinking "what the hell do I do here, there's so many of them!" The game is design genius, they've put baddies in perfect synchronization so that you may only get a small sliver of time to dispatch one. Last night I had to give up as my brain was frazzled. I need to work on my showdown techniques to have multiple characters working together, that's the key I'm guessing.

Yeah, making use of the synchronised moves with the multiple characters is the key :)

Ghost of A Tale - just been added to pc game pass with xbox live integration! An older game but quite charming you play a mouse in it.....:)

Code Vein worth it as a decent Souls like but easier overall with anime/manage styling and create your own character.

Definitely a decent game. Not much of a complaint, but it's hard to try every single Xbox Live game due to SSD space, not even tried Control yet for that reason. Being signed up to a few services like this, I'd recommend at least 2TB dedicated games storage which I have, I'm now looking at 4tb SSD or possibly cancelling services for a while.

Anyone seen any news about EA Play. It seems to have just been forgotten about. I’m wondering whether it’s been abandoned.

It's tied to the new EA Desktop app (Origin's replacement), which was supposed to come out of beta in December. Been no news about a revised release date since the delay announcement.

There's a Trello here showing the development roadmap: EA Desktop Roadmap | Trello. From the patch notes, it looks like they haven't released an update since mid-December.

Not surprised, they have somehow managed to make it functionally worse than Origin!

Having a bit of trouble with this, not sure if it's something I need to alter or it's just me reading it wrong.

I open the Xbox app > My Subscription. It says I own the basic game pass, but has the option to manage game pass ultimate. But according to my billing I'm paying for that.

When viewing the list of all games I can reach where H games start, but nothing else shows up. What is going on here? (Edit: After trying it again, I can reach the M section)

I can see what's recently added I can for example, install Wreckfest. But that is not showing in the all games list, same goes for Sea of Thieves.

I've ordered myself a 2tb nvme drive for this reason:D.

Sorry, probably been asked a few times but just wanted to clarify a few things.

So is the route to do this;
1) Signup for an Xbox live account/sign in with a current account (never used Gamepass)
2) Buy 12, 24 or whatever amount of months of Xbox Live I want and redeem them against Xbox Live account.
3) Sign up for game pass, either the £1 or £10.99 option and then Once that deal is applied to my account, it gets converted to Game Pass Ultimate — and Game Pass Ultimate will be available until my subscription expires.

Essentialy to get game pass ultimate its going to cost me 3 x 12mth membership + £1/10.99 (one off) to get it?

Once that is done, I can sign in on my xbox and get access to all the games, and then is it possible to 'share' game pass with the missus who plays on PC and she can play the PC games?

That's correct. The max you can stack is 36 months however.

I don't believe you can share game pass but I could be wrong. Might be possible if only one person plays at a time.
