PC Game Pass (was Xbox Game Pass for PC)

Signed up yesterday as I had completely forgotten you have to pay to play Xbox online (hasn't been turned on in years) and I had just installed Fortnite on it for my son. Was initially thinking I may switch to normal Xbox Gold after my £1 offer for Ultimate expires. But with after looking what is on offer for both PC and Xbox I can see myself sticking with it.

I didn't play Skyrim back in the day, and as it is now on gamepass I thought I'd give it a go.

I know it's not fully modable, but has anyone got any recommendations for graphics mods that I can install? I'm happy to stick to vanilla gameplay as it's my first play through, but anything that can make the graphics look a bit more up to date would be great.

I've modded Skyrim to death, to the point where I spent more time modding than actually playing...so I decided look at visuals only over gameplay changes and there are so many. However the below video pretty much sums up everything I've got installed.

Dont forget to install the Unofficial Patch as well from Nexus...its pretty much a must.

Hoping it was just a one off, but my dragon age origins installation through ea play started having a missing file/license error. I may have been able to just fix it through downloading the file, but in all honesty, just couldn't be bothered and uninstalled. Disappointing, since I had just finished the origins campaign, and wanted to run through awakenings with the character I'd just built.

Downloading jedi fallen order now.

I tried to do that spent about 2 hrs only to find that it wouldnt run afterwards so I gave up.

Trying to play Fallout 4 on game pass PC, the game has no FOV slider.
Changing it via game files which in itself is a pain to find and do doesnt work.
I thought id install a FOV mod but cant get the game to be discoverable on nexus mod manager, what a joke of a setup.

If I remember right you can change it via console commands in game.

Just edit the usual ini files in the save folder and make sure your desktop scaling is set to 100% only! Then it works just fine!!

No you won't either its MS DRM, they're working on getting Vortex to work with it but some stuff may never work i.e. F4SE, ReShade or ENB as they modify core files. MO2 won't work as it uses VFS same with NMM's symlinks iirc.

Microsoft doing their best to close off open platforming. Future bethesda titles to be windows store/game pass exclusive I shouldn't wonder.

Much thanks for this McPhee

I tried googling a few times for a list of PC games that support VR but i had no luck as i also have a load of games on steam but have no idea how to check if any of them does support VR or if any of them can support VR with mods
