Just a heads up for anyone else that might have had issues playing FIFA 21 on the EA play Store ¬ Delete the FIFA 21 Documents folder and the game runs fine. solved my problem.

Just realised that you don't actually get the full ea play catalogue with gamepass which....sucks.
For example there is no command and conquer ultimate collection ..
Has there been a reason for that given? Pretty sure MS advertise it that you get ea play (which implies the whole catalogue) with gamepass....

I would have thought you could but I don't see it in the list neither. Maybe you can install more games from the EA app ?
Edit: had a look myself and wow the EA desktop app seems awful compared to Origin - and missing EA Play games with gamepass

Its definitely included. Not sure why you're not seeing it within gamepass but launch EA Desktop and you should find it in there. When you list the games within Gamepass it does say "view more EA Play Games in EA Desktop" at the bottom
So you definitely have the ultimate collection (not just the remastered)?

Ha, no problem. Yeh I've been playing the remastered but was hoping to be able to play red alert 2 and 3.
Its definitely part of regular ea play so don't know why it isnt included on gamepass.

I think I've seen that they're still adding games to the ea play app, might just be they've not got round to it yet?
Hopefully that is the case. Otherwise, MS should change their advertising/wording because as it stands you don't technically get EA play . You get a selection of EA games from EA play.
Think the game pass app creates a hidden partition on the end of the c drive. I just cloned my c dive to a new drive and needed to extend the main partition, the only way I could do it was to delete the ~1GB partition that was on the end. App's/Game should not be able to mess with drive partitions! The game pass app no longer works now but will not be using it anyway, just a heads up.
There's nothing on my PC using Disk Management console.
Don't know if it shows in that? think in my case it was created after trying state of decay 2 but in device manager using show hidden devices there is a lot of volumes in the hidden storage, lots of them grayed now the partition is gone. The game pass app will not load now, says drive is missing as i deleted the 1GB partition. I uninstalled it anyway as my sub is gone now so was just sharing my experience with it. Think it's good overall just don't like it/games messing with the drive.

One thing I dont like about the MS game installs the folder it creates is protected and has strange permissions on it. You cant just browse it like a normal folder. Its like why MS there is no need for it.

I know, it stops Logitech’s G-Hub software recognising the game, so it can’t auto switch mouse profiles when launching the game.

I don't think you can launch it from steam either. I like to do that then I can still use the overlay.

It certainly works with steam in some capacity, my g502 flashes red when I die in cs:go. Which is quite often

Yeah, I did a clean windows install when I got a NVME drive and moving FH4 (100GB download) over to it was a bit of a ballache.
