PC Games for girls?!

[MoRT489]

Hi guys

Can you recommend any PC games that typically are appealing to women? My gf pootles about on the farming facebook game so maybe a Sims type thing or zoo game would be appropriate?

Never play that sort of game myself so have no idea! PC specs are fairly high so not limited by gfx.

I think we'd need to know more about what sort of games your gf actually likes to make recommendations. Just like boys, not all members of the female species like the same things.

Ahem
*kneejerk reaction over, gets off soapbox*

My gf plays horrendous games such as 'Wedding Dash' and 'Magical Farm' from crummy sites like Bigfishgames - she also plays Sims quite a bit

[Teaf]

Definitely Sims. I also find they tend to be fond of cute/fluffy platformers. You could also point her in the direction of candystand.com and see if there are any flash/shockwave games on there she'd like.

Girls usually like stuff like bejewelled twist, puzzle bobble and all that caper. What about plants vs zombies? Get a few popcap demos and see how she goes with those.

My girlfriend gets great joy stabbing me in the face in MW2

My daugter (16) is into all PC games.. She normally plays whatever I just finish. I think it's just they are made to believe it is just for boys or older boys and therefore avoid. Same thing in the gym, women don't go near the weights area. It seems very old school to me..

[macca672]

sims 2/3, perhaps an mmo of some kind like WoW or something

depends what shes into, not all gurlz on de interwebz play cooking mama and my fashion princess

[Simi]

My wife loves a lot of the games available on Wiiware and Virtual console (mario 3 etc). For the pc she plays Sims and WoW. Oh and Simcity too.

Popcap games, especially Peggle. It's about as addictive as liquid crack though, I warn you.

a lot of girls play MMO's, don't know if that will help considering you have to pay monthly, i find a lot are into Star Wars and fantasy style games as well.

You could also point her to a site like Neopets. My wife is addicted to it. I don't really get the appeal though.

If you're going for older games then Theme Hospital and Rollercoaster Tycoon etc

[Antar Bolaeisk]

You could try Braid as well.

My Mrs likes the odd blast on TF2 from time to time and used to be a fan of CS:S before it got old and flooded with kids/retards.

She loves bejeweled blitz and Tetris type of games too!

[Aedus]

Zoo Tycoon?

[wordy]

Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

[jmc007]

Peggle and HOG's.
