PC Games for girls?!

Whatever she's intrested in in real life?

If the first game I played was racing game I would have been like meh.... As I didn't used to be into cars, racing etc.

However I played an action game with lots of "shootin' baddies" which was exactly what intrested me at the time.

My girlfriend loves plants versus zombies, and things like bookworm etc.

However she also loves tactical mil sims like arma 2 and project reality, Civilization, old school city builders, mmo's and Mount and Blade (which she says is her favourite game ever, i think i may agree with her) yeah shes a bit odd for a girl in terms of gaming.

My mrs plays Sims 3, Spore, Age of Empires 2 at the moment, she tried to play Portal but she said it was too confusing and scary with the whole "portal thingys!"

I lol'd

I would have throught the evil computer on portal scared her!

it did me (joke) more reason to blow it up :p

mine is on luxor 3 and peggle, i tend to go on steam and grab a load of demos, if she likes any then i get it....then i can go on whatever i want, hurrah!

I assume she's not currently a gamer or she'd be picking her own games.

Anyway, +1 for 'The Longest Journey' and 'Dreamfall: The Longest Journey' and all the typical 'casual' games.

In threads like this I always end up linking to Arwen's web site, it chronicles the true story of of a young girls progression from naive Morrowind newbie to Fallout3 killing machine... Well, almost. A good read and excellent introduction to RPGs, especially for some females.

Logitech driving force pro...im impressed with it..not quite as good as my G25 but for the money its a nice wheel, the FF is as strong as you want it and it has 900 degrees rotation should you want that.

The pedals are no where near as good as the G25 though and the pro seems a bit hard to come by at the moment...we can defo recommend this wheel:)

Sorry going off topic a bit, girls like driving games too!

I managed to find reviews, the wheel and its wrokings works like the G25 but the pedals let it right down which is a shame as it could have been a G25 killer going by feel alone, thats pretty much what they said anyway

wonder if you can change pedal units, or put some sort of spring to them

hell its noisy through gess

I think you was meant to say I can recommend the wheel but not the pedals :D :p
