Seems very dull and boring in there, all wanting mass effect. and talk of assassins creed next year, oh how i love the fact us console gamers come first, we may not have crysis, but with mass effect on the verge! who cares?

Im glad i made the right choice!

My PC is more powerful though.

Which means my penis is bigger than yours and I am thus better than you.

The right choice is both. You made a compromise. :p

If you can afford both or everything then thats all good, but good PC's are expensive, and for the money the Xbox is the best! I just wish it was quiet, didn't break, and had built in wireless!!

Yeah, the only reason I'm not buying anything on PC is because I decided when I came to uni it would be cheaper to buy an xbox360 than upgrade my PC. After uni when my salary can afford the dogs No Swearing! of a PC i'll get one.

i have a pc, and an xbox 360, pc fails. even top end pcs fail imho. put in a game disc, and your away. no booting up and configuring etc.
Im really not too bothered. If i have to install a game thats fine. I know that if im installing it im going to be getting mods and free online play.

If im putting the disc the console in i know i will be playing no problems (usually) in a few minutes but that i wont get mods and wont get to play online for free.

Each have their trade-offs and in my eyes its foolish to think either one is the king of gaming.

Of course if i had to get rid of one, its the xbox. The PC does way too much for me to ever be replaced by anything else.

It's daft to discern between console and PC gamers, surely we should just play the games that appeal to us,regardless of which platform they're on,admittedly if a game has a multi-platform release i'll get the pc version, mass effect however is available only on console,no problem,i'll get the 360 version.

I reckon if you like games but restrict yourself to just one platform, somewhere along the line you'll be missing out.

agreed. if i had to choose personally id keep the PC.

I agree. There is certainly a lot of sourness there. Personally I haven't cared about PC gaming since Battlefield 2 over 2.5 years ago.

All my games go straight in and work fine. No installing, no patching, no tweaking. I'm happy.
And I get Mass Effect next week, Assassins Creed now, amongst many others.

I'm lucky that I don't like RTS games.

i far prefer console gaming now for the sheer convenience and playability. however after having the same spec for 2-3 years i think in the new year i'll probably spend around £750 (get a new monitor with that as well) to get a decent specced pc that'll see me right to play any games that have come out in the last couple of years and over the next couple. luckily for me i really don't care about running games on max settings so i don't need to spend uber money for tiny % performance increases.

actually i'm gutted now because i was about to reinstall diablo 2 and i've lost my lords of destruction cd key. guess i won't be getting back into pc gaming tonight then. hmmm wonder if it would be possible to convince blizzard to release d2 on live...

Who are you trying to convince, us or yourself? :)

It's funny because... I have Crysis, The Witcher, Assassin's Creed and will soon have Mass Effect. I guess that means I *shock horror* play both platforms. Both my Xbox 360 Elite and my PC both get used a lot.

I also have Gears Of War for both platforms plus Call Of Duty 4 and The Orange Box on the PC as they're all better on it. On the flipside I probably won't get Mass Effect for PC if it ever does come out unless it's supremely moddable, I also won't ever get Assassin's Creed on the PC since platformers suck with keyboard/mouse and because Ubisoft don't know how to code a port to save their lives.

This thread is utter fail just for the pure fanboyism. Everyone should kick you out of here for making this part of the forum look bad. Well, almost look bad, since nobody here seems to actually show your fanaticism.

Ugh for the love of god WHY do people have to make threads like this, also as for PC failing then that's just retarded.

Personally I like having the options to configure all my games and tweak them but hey that's just me.

I have both however, 360 ain't been on in about 2 months though, may change for Mass Effect but not that interested, Assasins Creed looks crap also, the combat system seems terribly clunky and awkward.

Also how is the PC forum dull and boring? Who are you kidding?!

PC gaming is not something I care about anymore, can get better gaming on the consoles, only think I need my pc for is racing sims which I doubt will ever be done better on a console.

Sold my PC ages ago. Was boring and a chore to keep on top of. Glad i sold it.

Also it's just basically a hole you fill up with money every month for new hardware.

Games for the PC whoop! Games for the Console! Whoop!

If theres a game thats better on the PC, I'll get it for that. Ala Oblivion.

If there's a game better on the 360, Ala Lost planet and any other game thats been ported later to PC. I'll get it for that :p

That's pretty much how I view it too. Exclusives go without saying, so do crap ports, and I also think that FPS/strategy are generally better on PC while platform/racing are generally better on console.

Roleplaying games could go both ways for me, depending on how good the graphics/controls are.

That's my little deciding system anyway, but sometimes a spanner is thrown into the works. :D

imho after years of gaming console gaming in my eyes is the best option in terms of not worrying if your gonna have driver problems, hardware problems etc, i do like pc gaming but i dont see the point anymore after buying an xbox 360.
