Hmmm.. to get PoP or not..

I really enjoyed GoW 1+2 on the PS2 (one of my favourite game on it). Is PoP anything like it? I do prefer the action and fighting over the puzzles, so is it worth buying?

To be honest, I thought the first three PoP games (Sand of Time trilogy) were the best things since sliced bread when they came out. I played them recently (or started to) but found they had aged badly and were pretty boring. We've been spoiled by the likes of Assassin's Creed and Uncharted since.

However, the rebooted Prince of Persia 2008 is very much still a good play. The graphics are really nice and the acrobatics a lot more fluid. Some don't like it because you can never really die but I found it a breath of fresh air.
