I don't see the big fuss with GFWL, i think its just a case of people will moan about anything and everything. As soon as you've done all the updates etc, all you gota do is stick you're username and password in each time you play. No big deal...

Not even that if you tick the remember me box.

Not that simple for most people actually.

I'm sure I share the views of many when I say it was an absolute nightmare... (log in bug, freezes, crashes)

Can't say I have had any problems with GFWL. That still doesn't change my opinion that it is a bloated, poorly supported/integrated, unnecessary pile of garbage though.

Like people have said, it is sort of Marmite; for some it was fine, for some it was a nightmare :p

I wish it wasn't for me, because now past experience just drives me away from it :(

To be fair to it, it was only the first time I used it that it gave problems, it's been fine since. Mind you, that first time was such an monumental pain in the behind that still get a flashback every time I load up Fallout (the game that gave me so much trouble).

Mount & Blade: Warband is available on its own for £3.74 from gmg.

Better to get this, or is the bundle worth it?

Like I said, With Fire & Sword is pretty poor and the community isn't that active, old Mount & Blade has only one mod worth playing (The Last Days), the game itself is a very early version of Warband and single-player only.

Warband is all you need.

Until Napoleonic Wars is out.

Thank you Mr Krugga sir. :)
