I think it's brilliant. It's a tower defence game but you can take control of the towers and also you fly the planes and control the tanks. It's simple and fun..

thanks, that does sound like an extra edge on the typical tower defense game.
how long is the campaign? (if there even is one?) ive read there will never be multiplayer so im thinking about the length of it
There is a campaign I have just finished it in around 3-4 hours. If you up the difficulty it will take longer. You also unlock extra missions once complete and there are different modes to choose.
Sounds well worth the money!

Toy Soldiers is good fun - I love the setting and the graphics and vintage feel of the game work really well. Being able to take direct control of the guns or planes is a good idea too. Overall - good value for money in my opinion.
My only complaint is the odd lack of 1920x1080 support - although that is supposed to be being worked on by Signal Studios according to their forum.

Yep, buy Toy Soldiers, well worth it's price.

After i play Bastion, when im going about my daily chores, i still have that guys voice going in my head "the sweat poured off Mark's head as he cut the sodden grass"
I also own Bastion and have only played for half hour as I kept falling off the map. The game is designed for a gamepad which I do not own.Just one of the many games I own and have never played
