*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

just picked up Toy Soldiers, looks pretty cracking and its my kind of game 100%

SS BF3 is brilliant, mate bought his LAN box over last night and we ran through a few hours of coop...utterly superb!

Drakensang the Dark Eye £4.99 at Gamersgate. Good game, I just wish Amazon had the sequel for download as it's not for sale here in the UK.

I liked Drakensang, it was quite a deep game when you got into it, and extremely pretty.

Just brace yourself for the fantasy cliches, I reckon they had a list and tried to fit every single one in :D

Kinda but EA is also a publisher IIRC so these games probably aren't made by EA themselves?

Correct. Games that were developed completely independently then, for good or ill, shopped around and published by EA.

I think if there is an issue to be taken with EA and Indie being used in the same sentence, it's developers not having a handle on how much hate and distrust people have for EA, or how poorly they market the indie stuff, which is the main reason these little guys go with them, to spread the word.

That aside, it's a good bundle. Gatling Gears, Shank 1 and 2, Deathspank and Warp are all worth the asking price.

The awesome Batman Arkham City £9.99 on Steam, Weekend deal only.

I've been waiting on a good deal for this for ages, but I'm sure it's so heavily discounted only because the GOTY is about to be released which bundles all the DLC, including the new Harley Quinn pack. I've no idea on price for the GOTY though, so maybe this deal plus separate DLC is still cheaper?

+1

I've been waiting for a while too, but I suspect you're right about a GOTY edition being just around the corner, so I'm not sure whether I should buy or not.

I'm buying because GOTY edition will be dearer, and probably im only getting this because of awesome bro skills. (Tbh I couldn't afford anything until bro skills came into play)
