I'm tempted to buy it now myself. Never played a Saints Row though, is it like GTA? How does it play on the PC considering it looks like a console game?

£7.99 is cheap considering it's not that old.

its a really good game good price too i paid 23 for mine i think, its fun and not bad once u get the hang of the driving physics

Yeah I would have easily payed £20 for it. I don't have any issues with it, I found that it ran fine on my PC :)
ATI cards seem to have been screwed from day one, or at least if you are having problems it's most likely you're running an ATI gpu. It's been months since I finished it, but I've checked back occasionally just to see if it's been fixed either with patches or newer drivers, so far it hasn't. This is with a 6990, I wouldn't say I've ever had it running well, but I got so sick of waiting I just played through it once it was playable.

I think it's terrible & have 0 performance issues - lol @ very oopposing views
If we could swap performance then we'd both be happy :p.

Think of GTA San Andreas, GTA IV essentially took the more serious side of a GTA game and took it to the logical conclusion. SR3 on the other hand takes the more ridiculous side of the older GTA games and cranks it up quite a few notches. It's intentionally silly, genuinely funny and most of all it's just a fun game to play.

Civ 5 Gods & Kings

£15.30 at greenmangaming.com

Use code THEET-ERNAL-WAR15

mmm just paid £17.99 for this from Steam, might sound like a cheapskate but I wonder if I could get a refund from them, as it is a pre order, and then buy it from above..?

If so does anyone know how to go about getting a refund from Steam..?

That's a lot of hassle for 2.69
