Whats the handling like on Driver nowadays, on a scale from Chase HQ to F1GP :p

Handling is fairy arcadey but due to the nature of the game it's not that big a deal.... basically you spend most of the game taking control of random vehicles to smash into whoever your chasing, or to protect something.

If you are expecting a 'standard' driving game it definitely isn't that, it has fairly original game mechanics that are basically minigames at times. It's a lot less serious than Driv3r or Parallel Lines.
 
Also at Play is Assassin's Creed: Revelations - Ottoman Edition (all DLC) for £12.99.

Pretty nifty as I have been hunting for the DLC cheap and cheapest I've came across is around a fiver a pack give or take.
 
ah damn, having trouble on the payment page using the steam app (android) keep getting an error :( and I'll not get home in time to purchase Driver: San fan. before the deal ends.
 
Can I purchase Hot Pursuit on Origin then never launch Origin again after it has installed updated?

EDIT: Found my answer. Apparently It does not require Origin to run; simply and EA Online (Origin) account to log into the in-game multiplayer stuff.

Bought, thanks for the heads up, been hankering for some Criterion smashy fun.
