+1 for sticky, it also stops a lot of random threads from being created
Threads like this don't need to be stickied, they're buoyant enough on their own.

I would completely disagree. It has been very useful having a single thread for all of the deals. I have bought loads of discounted games because of it and I know many others have to. The OP was never going to keep up with things, but the last page or two always has the current best deals. The numerous threads for each daily deal was a pain in the backside.
Doesn't even need a sticky either, it rarely if ever leaves the front page.
If a majority want it closed then it can be, but I highly doubt that will be the case.

Yeah, this thread is fantastic and always worth a look. Got a fair few games that Ive enjoyed but might not have found if not for this thread.
Comparisons between Darksiders and AC are well wide of the mark though, it's essentially a darker Zelda ripoff, and at £5 it's an absolute steal!

Ok, looks like I misunderstood the importance of the thread.
I do not see any harm though in "seperate" threads for deals, just dislike it when they get moved into here.
For the many who read this thread, just to see what is available, there are just as many (probably more) who do not.

I can understand when some of the crazy good deals get posted outside of here and also some of the bigger sales e.g. steam summer sales. The rest should be in here, makes them easier to find IMO.

No, because then it just turns the forum into a clutter of "OMG cheap game" threads. There's a thread here for posting cheap game deals, people can use it.
