I just can't get into indie games... I play them once then uninstall. Tried Trine 3 times and I just find it boring. The only one I've completed is Machinarium

Nope, can use the mouse and keyboard fine on it. The keyboard is essential on a lot of the single player missions due to the game using literally most of the keys for some form of control or signalling. Takes a while to get your head around it all! Even if you did use a joystick or pad etc, you'd still need to use the keyboard for giving orders to your squadron and numerous other things like that.
 
Well I've finally purchased wings of prey, I remember looking forward to this game before it's release and playing the demo which seemed pretty good and then they went and released it with some pretty crap drm with limited installs, then they wonder why the game doesn't sell as expected. The thing is I've only paid a fiver for it now because they removed the drm but if it didn't have the drm in the first place they could have had full price from me.
