I fairly sure it would be illegal to charge for them.

I think you're mad because you didn't get any free games. I didn't either :(

I'm not mad, I consider it stealing due to the exploit used, it wasn't intended to be used so people could stick it to EA, it was EA running a decent promotion.

EA made the mistake, no one should be banned. At most taken the games away. Some companies would honour the mistake they'd made. Making a promotion code that gives things for free like that is a rookie error.
 
EA Store has had some 'exploits' before and they never took those games back, e.g:

-Mirror's Edge, Dead Space and Mercenaries 2 World In Flames - free if bought all at once
-Min spend on cokezone vouchers used not to work, so you could get any game up to £10 for free.

Haha. I'm saying that wanting users banned/charged because EA can't design a promotion code that can work properly is a bit silly. Who's to say it's an exploit or not until it's gone.

It's available, I just bought it. Ignore the 'Unavailable' bit, click on 'Buy and download' under the list.

edit: Turns out it didn't work :(
