500 deal-finder points for anyone who can source a good deal on Gears of War. Cheapest respectable place I can find is GFWL @ £14.99 which seems a lot for a 5 year old game.

An heads up for anyone else, your card issuer might charge an overseas admin fee, I think mine with Santander was £2.50 for a Visa Debit.

I was the same played 1 and was bored senseless. However I picked up 2 cheap and wow it was amazing. I then skipped brotherhood and played revelations as I found it cheap. And wow that was even better ! Played 2 on the ps3 and revelations on the PC !

Hmm I might just try that. Thanks!

Have they fixed the save game problem? I expect there are solutions to this, but it's still something to bear in mind. :)

That's the only place to buy it digitally its not available elsewhere legally the used physical copy prices are extreme nowadays as its getting rare. Some companies are selling a keygen key but its not legit so it would get blocked at sometime by MS & the site shut down when they discover whats happening! Not worth taking a chance either as they would suspend your entire GFWL account & getting that back is almost impossible due to the poor support.

£14.99 might seem a lot but PC gets exclusive PC only content (5 extra levels), a full level editor so you can build your own or import the many already made plus the MP is still active & its by far the best version of the game so you will easily get your £14.99 worth as the co-op alone is worth that :D & finally PC also supports DX10 which means working AA on this early UT3 game & superior to 360 gfx due to the higher res textures (approx 12000 files after install it takes around 1 hour solid to install form DVD or when you have finished downloading it from GFW).

Just bought Call of Juarez The Cartel (registers on Steam) for £2 from local Blockbuster Store and Supreme Commander 2 (registers on Steam) for the same price.

Worth checking out your local Blockbuster store.
