They can jog on at that price, there have been plenty of other games with extra content and DX10 support compared to consoles e.g. Assassin's Creed Director's Cut which came out after GOW, that has been on sale for about £3, heck even without shopping around and looking just at Steam, not on sale it is still under a tenner.

I've had GOW2 on the XB360 for a couple of years but have held off playing it as I want to play GOW first. Guess I'll just have to wait for some sort of GFWL sale.

I dont think there is much benefit in holding off HT, its not really a continuation of a story from what I remember.

They never ever do sales on this game so you will be waiting a very long time!

Have they fixed the save game problem? I expect there are solutions to this, but it's still something to bear in mind. :)
Save game problem is also still present on the 360 version after several patches & you cannot backup the saves either they are encypted & not only that some guy @ Epic (called Joe Graf ) who writes all their achievements confirmed several years ago the game also has a strong anti-cheat mechanism which means any changes to your network settings or swapping from wired to wireless network connection results in all save progress being lost  quite why Epic would put so much effort into this is bizarre as it also means any ini editing prevents any LIVE achievements being earnt unless you totally remove & reinstall the entire game (all 12000 plus files which takes an hour or so regardless of PC spec as they are heavily compressed & unpacked on the fly during install).

Game IMO is still worth £14.99 as the Co-Op/MP is so much fun & the game is a decent experience plus all the PC only extras but I could see why some do not want to buy it!

Its still over £15 at most places, I'd hold on to make sure Steam are not doing a quick Halloween Sale first.

Cheapest is a retail copy here at £9.85: http://www.shopto.net/pc/PCSP33-spec-ops-the-line (It should be Steamworks, but can't be 100% these days with retail keys).

Although I can see it being £4.99 on Steam at some point in a sale.

Amazon US have Dark Souls download at $19.99 at the moment, which is about £12.50. I have no idea if GFWL codes are region locked though.

shopto.net are selling the physical version with all the goodies for £15.85 today only & it registers on Steam if you must do that but try not to then you can run the game without steam running in the background as no disk check after the initial activation/install.
