******* gamersgate
3 days later and i still havent recieved my refund for the borderlands 2 4 pack..ive raised 3 tickets and no response.

This might sound a bit harsh to some, but all those who bought the borderlands four pack for £6 knew they were trying to take advantage of an obvious mistake, and it back fired. It's not the end of the world, and it's only £6, you'll get it back eventually even if it means having to make a claim with your bank/credit card.

Some credit cards charge you a fee if you use them in a currency other than Sterling, I found this out before I visited the States this year and got a card with a ZERO conversion fee.

Indeed, plus a % fee is almost always better than a fixed fee for small purchases like games.

Which card was this you got btw?

My CC is 2.75%, which is great for small buys. I bought Walking Dead and Scribblenauts from Amazon, got charged 21p and 13p respectively. My debit/bank card however is a flat £1.25 which kinda sucks for those small purchases, would have paid £2.50 instead of 33p.

I see Anno 2070 is back on flash sale, at £25 for the lot. Turns out there is a demo too which I am about to try, anyone know if it is cheaper for the lot elsewhere?

backfired ?
i didnt try and steal something from them i tried to purchase something at their advertised price.

strangely these so called mistakes seem to happen more than usual at gamersgate, cheap cheap price then either knock the price up after getting a bit of traffic or cancelling orders, so no its not an obvious mistake.

its a way of getting traffic and letting gamers know about their site.

If these mistakes, as you put them, happen so often then you clearly knew exactly what you were doing and what the pitfalls were, yet now you act like you are being unfairly disadvantaged.

yes get in early and purchase the game before they raise the price.....worse comes to worse they give me a refund.

are you genuinly this slow and cannot see from the above posts why i would be slighly annoyed at them.

If the 4 pack was the season pass for borderlands 2 then GMG did it for £7, so £6 isn't too far priced from that. If it's advertised then why wouldn't people order it ? Maybe it was a screwup on their part but the least they should do is respond to the original posters tickets. Seems like you're being a little contrary for the sake of it IMO. Would you pass on every single deal you see just in case its a mistake ? The guy just wants his cash back or a response from gamers gate and probably some moral support from his ocuk peers.

So you tried to rip them off knowing full well that you might not get the game(s) and now that they are taking their time with the refund, which is a mere £6, you are getting 'annoyed'. Why not make a claim with your bank or credit card company then, perhaps claim compensation too, you might even get more than the £6 back. That would probably make it worth the trouble and fall right in with the entitlement culture you seem to follow.

Seems to me you are too smart for your own shoes and got just what you deserved.
