*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Not even for that reason, it is an abortion of a website at the moment. Barely functional, customer services don't respond to your emails or webnotes and their phone lines are jammed. They are more expensive than the other big websites at the moment as well.

Agreed, i am unable to cancel my pre-orders on the website and no one is responding or acting upon my emails!

I managed to cancel my pre-orders for Fifa, Rage and Space marine today. I had to review each one separately then click cancel when inside. Now I am just waiting for shopto to deliver a key for me.

Just checked and you are right it is fixed now. Before I could only cancel recent pre-orders any ones from months ago the option to amend cancel or amend was not there.

Don't even buy from GAME considering their damaging the PC market at the moment

http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1119494

They've updated the thread there to admit that their original accusation (that Game were the reason some games were pulled from Steam) is actually totally untrue.:o

As usual, don't believe everything you read on the internet (especially about your mum ).

PS. This doesn't stop Game from being a crap store which charges far too much for games, but to give them some credit, they do stock more PC titles than most over retailers (Gamestation, HMV, CEX, Tesco etc.)

Glad to hear it is untrue.

Like you say, they do stock a comparatively excellent stock of PC games still - if you visit often they do sometimes have some excellent deals.

Still prefer all my games on Steam though :)

Only other thing about Game is that I am happily browsing, and they constantly hound me asking if I want help - NO, GO AWAY :p

Also, all the people in there need to stop eye-balling my gf :p
