I'm still finding it hard to believe this bundles real

Especially when they aren't even getting £3 for it, with all the money going to charity.

It's almost like EA has a bad reputation amongst gamers that it is trying to repair.

They probably think it'll work too...

FFS, why did they have to chose those Origin games - I already own all of them on Origin except DS3 and Sims3! There's a bunch of other games I'd have liked...

Great deal, a shame origin is so slow! Have selected 'redeem key' and only getting a circulating ball thingymajig!

To be fair, this is on HUKD and it's getting seriously hot so their servers will be melting.

Quite a lot of people trying to activate games at the same time. Mine went through quickly earlier but that was as soon as the bundle was released.

Not a good introduction to Origin!! Think they should have prepared their servers if they were hoping to entice people onto their system! All I see is an unstable DRM that I can't play my games on because it wont load

Does that just mean this stuff from the advanced settings or more than this?

Not sure if that's the same thing. I recall some controversy around the time Origin launched that the T&Cs let them scan you entire PC and send details of your software, etc back to them.

This does indicate that Origin scans file names of his entire PC, though it doesn't try to read anything that it shouldn't (appears to be looking for EA games).
It doesn't appear to read anything it shouldn't, but last I had heard the T&Cs still allowed it to do so if they wanted (which is the bit I have a problem with)

Did find that you can sandbox Origin to protect against this anyway, but would be easier not to have to.

Got all my games added to Steam and Origin now, just needed to be patient with it.

Already had a go on Burnout, reminded me how much fun that game is.

Normally after ordering the email comes within a minuet or two, 10 minuets later and still no email from Humble saying my deal/keys are ready, they must be taking a hammering

Yeah same here. There are loads being sold every second if you watch the counter, so might be a bit of a delay .

I can see you can buy as a "gift" - can you buy twice - ie one for youself- one for a gift ? Fancy buying the bundle for a friend as well
