Battlefield 4 (DVD) is an upcoming lightning deal @ amazon as part of the black friday deals (8.15am.) Currently £39.02. I guess the question is - will it be cheaper than the d/l only version which is £34.97?

Earlier I also saw X Rebirth on there as an upcoming deal but it's dissapeared now...

£22.99 go go go!

Wow £22.99 for 1/5th of a game almost identical to one I already paid at least that much for 1/5th of before - AMAZING!! I only hope I'll get to pay for 1/5th of another similar game in the future! :p

Couldn't resist Europa Universalis 4 deal on Humble Store, works out at about £12.50. Doubt it'll be cheaper than that for a long while. Bit daft though, cos I have hardly even got into playing EU3, even though I have pretty much bought every DLC for it in steam sales. One of these days I'll actually play it.

I bought EU4 when it came out, but I'd advise waiting a little longer for DLCs to be released.

£12.50 isn't bad, though!

It's too early for maths rufus...

Just say its a rubbish game already.. :D

You sir have earned +1 internets... Why?... For correctly including the "s" on the end of maths :p

I wouldn't say it's a rubbish game, I've had some decent fun playing the Battlefield series over the years... I just resent the lazy and greedy approach that's being taken with it of late.

Back in my day a paid for (and usually physical) "Expansion pack" typically contained so much content for the money that people would frequently wonder why the developer didn't just turn it into an outright sequel... Content that was developed after the release out of unused assets or just because the developers wanted to provide more for their fans...

Nowadays the whole thing is planned out from the start - we'll develop the full game and then split a load of it into 5 pieces each containing a pitifully small amount of content - maybe one or two extra maps and a vehicle... That way we can charge people £100s for the game instead of the normal price (but they won't notice because it's spread out over time or packaged as a "premium pass" - and we'll use the word premium because it makes them feel elite)...

Can't be that mad at EA et al. - It's pure genius in terms of business strategy, but personally I feel like they are taking advantage of us all

that £22.99 BF4 offer seems to have gone.

What astounds me is that on Greenman Gaming PC DVD ROM is £32.99 yet the download is more expensive than the physical copy at £37.99

Yeah it was time & quantity limited.

Last night it was £39.02 for the DVD on Amazon but now its the same as the download - £34.97. It's all very random....

Nothing's changed as I've bought them. Have you made the american address your default address; when you go to confirmation page your address is shown before you confirm final purchase.

I have a card set up for my USA address. It's also My 1 click.
I click to buy.
Then it asks for my card again.
Then bang:o, the error pops up.

Can so one hep my make it my default account please. TIA.
