Thanks very much snapping it up now. I don't normally ask these questions but I hear this is very demanding on the hardware. i5 [email protected], 8gb ram, 2gb 6950, will I be ok?

Cheers guys

Regards Metro 2033

Just to update my own post with regards to performance. High settings everything maxed, dx11 on but DoF off = 50-60fps. This was in the outside area after you first kill those 3 things. So not played enough to see if it will drop more. Game does look amazing.

Highest with DoF I seem to drop to about 32fps, big drop imo, not done much testing etc but will play around again later.

Only downfall of Metro is how short the campaign is when you consider thats all there is to it. £3 for about ~30ish hours of gameplay is okay.

Cannot fault the graphics/sound though, it definitely immerses you in the game, albeit for a short while.

I thought I'd post this here as well as on the Sonic Generations thread.

For anyone who's interested, Green Man Gaming have this for pre-order @ £16.95 at the moment (15% off). Using their current 20% off voucher on top of this brings it down to £13.56.

Cheers for that! with the fiver on my account thats £15 for Arkham City :D.

It's probably just worth £7.50 given that they did at least attempt to go back and patch it to be less crap.

I thought the "Duke" offer on Steam was just for new DLC?

Edit: ooh, didn't realise it was the full game at that price, i'm feeling very tempted....
