Cities XL (2009) : 99p on Steam

Not even worth it at that price tbh.

Is RF Guerilla any good, says its a sci fi setting on the moon and open world (like gta?) and able to blow **** up really good but is their missions all over that is not part of the plot (gta?) and how is the story? The mech and tanks in it look cool i guess too. Btw their isnt any stupid aliens or monsters like the newest game is there just normal people to blow up i hope. As i hate alien/monster shooters.
It's competent in most areas, but what sets it apart is the destructable buildings. By focussing only on man made structures in a generally sparse environment they're able to use a damage model way beyond anything seen before or since.

It carried the entire game for me, but I suspect most people will put the game down soon after they get bored of it since Guerilla doesn't really excel in any other area. Worth a shot at £3.74 even if you only get a few hours out of it.

It's only worth it if you want to upgrade to Cities XL 2012: -50% of Cities XL 2011; +£9.99: Cities XL 2012: +£11.69 = £21.68 + 99p = £22.67. A massive saving of £4.32 from the price of the new game if you were to buy that one as a standalone.

Is that worth it? Probably not.
