I just setup a free Borderlinx account and it gave me the state of OH.

Is that good/bad?

Edit: Bugger, keep getting the message:

"Game Downloads are only available to US customers"

Take the key (assuming it is a steam game) and in steam activate a product , just copy and paste the key in , don't try to download the game .

You misunderstand, that message is from the Amazon US checkout. I haven't got the keys yet.

Ok , forget all about that borderlinx thing you did .

First thing to do is setup a new delivery address on your (amazon) account. Google a hotel in Alaska , e.g hilton hotel , alaska .

Once you have that filled in on your account , when you go to buy the game , where it asks you for a delivery address , select your alaska hotel as delivery ( nothing gets sent there , its a digital transaction ) once you have an american delivery address selected , it should all go through no problem.
 
So that was the "problem" then. I just selected the borderlinx address as both billing and delivery and it worked fine.

Somewhat concerned now that Amazon US let me buy something with a billing address which didn't match the one on my Visa card, a delivery address in a country I've never delivered to before on my card history and no request for card security code or verified by visa code!

Ah well , at least you got it working dude . I take it the region you had was sales-tax free yeah ? ( some states charge 5-6% )
 
Borderlinx seems to be designed for exactly this kind of thing so I'm guessing they thought about that.
