*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Went a whole month not really interested in playing anything, but with 4 days off work, put a few hours into Ghost of Tsushima, Disco Elysium and The Witcher 3, will try and finish Ghost of Tsushima before I go back to work on Monday.

I've realised I really hate the grind of having to travel from place to place after doing it in so many games to the point where I will use fast travel mods now in more games I play even if that means waiting for these to be available before purchasing the game. I think only in GTA and Cyperpunk have I not minded it with the world feeling so alive in those intermittent periods. I just can't tolerate the grind when my free time is more valuable than usual at the moment.

I play most of these games for the story anyway and while traversing the world created can be enjoyable for the most part it's just conversation filler which I can't skip anyway and a way to make the game 5-8 hours longer than it otherwise would be.

Looked at Ubisoft sale, I think I pretty much have everything I want already from them but my eye was drawn towards Might and Magic X: Legacy.
Fancied some old school grid based fighting. Reviews look a bit meh but for £4 it might entertain me for a wee while.

Talking about cheap as chips...

Large chips now at the umm, chippy is £4.50.

Nice mind.

So that makes Far Cry 6 cheaper than chips ;)

To think I used to get cod (a large one at that) and chips, pot of mushy peas, lashings of salt and vinegar, nicely wrapped up in yesterdays news, all for the princely sum of one and a tanner.

Those were the days.
