*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

I would like to know the same thing. I usually wait a year in between buying FM because most changes are minor.

Other than the yearly updates for new transfers etc is there any reason to get the 2014 edition of FM over this for a quid

The changes are minor but significant. But then again, you can live without them. You can download an unofficial patch that moves the players to match the beginning of the 13/14 season. FM14 is quite cheap too, under a tenner I think from STEAM (and some other key shops).

First few posts/pages of this thread mention a few changes and people's reaction. You want to look at them.

Cheers!

Anyone here bought Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition it's also on offer and made by the same people as Mortal Kombat - £5.74.

From what I've been reading the multiplayer is pretty rubbish on both of them (online, not local) but the single player is respectable.

I bought it a month or 2 ago. Single player is fine as you said, multiplayer is ok when it works...

It took a while to actually get it to let me play against a friend online. Then we both thought his PC was having issues that caused the game to lag (or even crash completely) but then it happened to mine too. I'd say about 60% of the fights we started ended without either of these issues happening.

We played for a few hours and haven't been back on it since.

Edit:
Sniper Elite v2 is... FREE on Steam until tomorrow.

Thanks, claimed it :)

What do you mean by this bit ? Do you mean you go outside our confines of a single screen and roam the MK world Final Fight style ?
When you complete the game on a certain mode it lets you unlock extra content with the points you earned on a large bonus map which is split into 4 different areas. Its a nice addition to just unlocking bonus content instead of clicking a button you explore a new location with 4 sub locations to unlock the content :D

For anyone who doesn't already have it, Mirror's Edge is pretty short, but well worth it at that price.
