I've just had an email from them reminding me about getting a copy of X-COM, so I'm going to try it out when I get home tonight.

The emails may be going out in batches, so be patient for a bit longer.

Oh man oh man I want this so bad... so many classics I loved when I was younger :D

"In a special windows Steam-alike downloader launcher program thing"

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm out

Someone asked about the XCOM Enemy Within GMG 80% off if you already had XCOM Enemy Unknown. I already had it but played the first tutorial mission last night and still got the 80% code and have just used it to get Enemy Within for £4 which I think is a steal.

I still claimed the Enemy Unknown because when I first played my original copy I didn't receive the code but this may have just been down to the time it takes them to get fresh user data from Steam.

When I claimed the promo copy of Enemy Unknown I didn't do anything with the code I received by email.

I already created my Playfire account using the same email as I used to vote in the Golden Joysticks Award and linked it to my Steam.

The 80% code came through this morning in the Playfire client.

I think there is only a couple more days left to do the qualifying mission or spend an hour playing it to get and spend the 80% off voucher.

I tried to use the 80% off but it said unable to apply voucher? Do u have to do the mission before it activates? I havent installed it yet in steam.

If you didn't do the mission are you using someone else's voucher, perhaps the vouchers are account specific?

My 80% voucher ends ...ZRUF

I would think you'd need a copy of XCOM Unknown installed in Steam and your Playfire account linked to Steam for them to see that you have it and that you've done the achievement.

Ah wait I don't think I linked to a play fire account? What is playfire btw is that their own drm of something?
