*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Ah wait I don't think I linked to a play fire account? What is playfire btw is that their own drm of something?

It's greenman's client thing. I think you sign in to the playfire website using your greenman username and pw and then link to your steam account from there.

I bought Resi 6, Fear 3 and Batman origins for £11 or so in the GMG Halloween trick or treat sale.

Won 2 x 25% off codes, X-3 The Reunion, Nosgoth Veteran Pack and Evolve Alpha, whatever they are :).

Portal bundle (1&2) on GMG for £4.49. Is it worth buying two copies just for Portal 2, just to play the coop with the Mrs? Knowing me I'll never touch the single player

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt on sale at G2A.com for £15.74 which seems like a good deal. Only thing that put me off is they want you to pay 79p for something called G2A Shield which will guarantee a fully working key or your money back.

I am thinking erm, should that not be a free standard service... I used them before I think, but with such silly services like that, I will give it a miss.

Damn! They cant have had many in stock!

I thought it was illegal to sell steam gifts keys commercially? Surprised G2A are doing it actually.

probably a risk (albeit no doubt very low) of your account being blocked or whatever.

They're not, they're a storefront for anybody who has a key to sell, that's why they sell the 'unused key' insurance for a few extra quid.

but surely, if you buy a used/invalid key, you just bounce it back to PayPal for a refund as "goods not delivered"... you don't need to pay any extra for insurance?

Is Lifeless Planet worth the £3.94 that GMG is asking in that sale? What's it like?

From PC Gamer's review: It looks like a platformer, but Lifeless Planet is really more of a 'walking around simulator' as they've come to be known, like Dear Esther or The Stanley Parable.

Largely depends on how you feel about interactive story 'games' I suppose. I reckon it's the sort of thing that will turn up in a bundle before long.

I liked Dear Esther but completed Gone Home earlier and was underwhelmed.

Lifeless Planet has already been in 4 bundles. I got it from a bundle but haven't had any urge to play it yet.
