Yeah humble is becoming more commercial, but truth be told most people would not be giving to charity AT ALL when they bought those games elsewhere, if they even bought the games at all.
I for one wouldn't have bought half the games I've gotten through humble bundles for anywhere near RRP, but feel that $5 for five games is immense value even if I'll never play half of them.
I always change it to 25% humble tip, 25% developers and 50% charity, but do you really expect big companies to give away their latest multi million dollar development project for (probably) a loss? the EA bundle that sold millions of copies was STILL a £200 saving on RRP despite the games being a couple of years old, and sure the developers benefited hugely from more sales but there's still a huge amount of money going to charity that probably wouldn't otherwise...
Charity is a nice sweetener, but developers still need money to stay in business... Go play your cheap games and stop moaning about how you should get them for free .
