Gah! Was so tempted by this offer I followed the link.

"Payment verification pending... please send us photo ID"

Yeah... right.

Now I have to go through the faff of cancelling the order and waiting for a refund.

hmm only bought the one item from them - FIFA.

Was not asked for any ID...

Other posters have also used and recommended them.
 
My two sons (3 and 5) are starting to expand their awareness of games having played Wreckfest and Flatout series for over a year and are now getting bored. Although the current no.1 is Hasbro Battleships. Anyway I've been on the lookout for cheap racing games as they love that type and came across Bundle Stars Born 2 Race Bundle.

Its £1.09 for 7 racing games that get mixed to very positive ratings. Thats just over 15p a game. I've still to vet them to see whether they are too young for some of them (as in I`ll have them :D ) but come on how can they make any money ?

Well, that's very nice for you, but it doesn't help me... ;)

Just no way I feel I can trust a site that asks for this. Certainly enough to actually send them my photo ID!

They replied rapidly enough to my first request for a refund pleading the necessity of having ID and saying I could blur 'part of the photo' (like that can't be undone!). But not so rapid since I replied to that repeating my insistence on having a refund.

I have a bad feeling about this...
 
I wouldn't mind if they made this clear before they process payment. The fact that they happily bill your card and then email to request ID (with a link below saying if you don't want to do this we'll refund your money) is terrible practice. They obviously know many people are uncomfortable with this and do not want to go through with it but take payment and hide this request until that point.

So now the money is out of my account for five days. Okay, it's not going to affect my finances unduly but I now have to go through the process of waiting and checking to see the refund is processed to close my support ticket. A waste of my time.

I'm very resentful of the way this was handled and the way the fact that they request ID is not put into the open until you've already gone through the payment process.

A pox on them!
