Square Enix are running an offer:

The Holiday Surprise Box includes a currently unknown selection of five digital Square Enix games currently available on the Square Enix Store as well as a few other cheeky offerings. The combined value of games as determined by the store will exceed £50 / €70 / A$90 but you can pre-order the Surprise Box for £4.99 / €6.49 / A$8.99 from today onwards until December 18 at 8am. We'll then reveal the contents of the box on the same day (December 18) at 3pm, at which time we'll also distribute all codes.

You can of course speculate amongst yourselves what might be in the box, but we won't be revealing anymore about it until the 18th…!

Holiday Surprise

I'm assuming it'll be a couple of old titles that Square Enix deem are still sellable at £50 combined. My guess is it'll be something from Deus Ex series, Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider, Hitman series. Though there is Kane and Lynch, Thief, Just Cause 1 and 2 and several hundred iterations of Final Fantasy.

Be nice if it was Just Cause 3 and Deus Ex Mankind Divided! Got most of the above but probably worth a punt, even if it means giving the keys away on here.

Hmmm. Going on past years, I'm guessing no FF games. Here's my prediction:

Lara Croft: Osiris
Deus Ex: HR
Hitman: Absolution
Anacronox, or other very old title
And a DLC for something or other.

Do you know if they just give you the keys? Or is it something you have to link Steam up to in order to activate the games?

I am considering the purchase as gifts to hand out to gaming buddies for xmas.

I was thinking Deus Ex: HR (purely because of next years release)
Sleeping Dogs
Hitman
2 random keys.

To be fair they could throw in TR, Hitman, Deus, SD and Thief as I'm pretty sure you can collect all 5 of those for sub £20, let alone £50 these days.

I ruled out the ones from the past two xmas boxes. (TR, Thief). Sleeping Dogs is a good shout though. That could well be in there.

In any case, I won't be buying. I've got all the Squeenix games I need, barring FF.
